I'm not Gen Z. So forgive me if I am speaking out of line. But here is my take on this. Gen Z absolutely did get the short end of the stick in the short term. You guys are a small generation in a country where the two largest generations we've ever had (Baby Boomers and Milennials) were older than you and already had a work history by the time the oldest of you was turning 18. I got absolutely fucked when it came to getting gainful employment and I'm "higher on the totem pole" than Gen Z as a virtue of having 15 years of work experience. You guys also got the short end of the stick in that society kind of treated you guys as a social experiment. I was 14 when social media went onto mobile devices. I didn't even have social media until I was 18, almost 19. Some time around 2007, society asked, "What happens when you give 2 year olds the internet?" and called it Gen Z. What we've found out in the 15ish years since they asked that question is that its broadly not good for the mental health of kids to see others at their highest, happiest moments and compare it to the everday experience of your life. My sympathies to Gen Z for both of these things. These actions were effectively crimes committed against you. But here's my thing. All these problems; being locked out of corporate jobs because of experience requirements on entry-level positions. Finding gainful employment in general. Not being able to provide for a family and having weirdly wishy washy, and sometimes man hating girls as "potential wives" Being low man on the totem pole in the labor market. These things all hit me and my generation just as hard or harder than it has hit you guys. It just happened to you guys when you were younger. You guys will almost certainly outlive these not exceedingly bad times. But still not good time. I may not. I was in my teens when this stuff all started to go wrong. You were either under 10 or unborn. You will outlive these not good times. My Gen Z girlfriend will outlive these not good times. If you are Gen Z. I encourage you. Go get a "dirty" but high paying job. Go succeed. Go get yourself ahead. Go get to the point where socialization is manageable. You CAN do it.

At least, in this reality, the world would get to see Stalin for the DIRTBAG he REALLY WAS.

I'd be willing to bet, that in this reality, if Castro's government in Havana fell, he'd go into exile into the U.S.S.R.
